On Lib's views, fair enough. Again, all I was saying is that many who share his political affiliation have that view, not that he does.

Your view of affirmative action isn't that far from mine, Aldo, and I agree fully.

An RA is the resident assistant or some other A-word (it varies, IIRC). Basically, they're a student hired to supervise a floor in a dorm and basically keep the students from running rampant.

I was using him as an example because I live next to him, not because he was the RA.

No, just a floor monitor. The house mothers are the Resident Directors/Residence Life Coordinators (don't ask, but the positions *are* very similar).

Anyway, the RAs and RDs/RLCs really aren't all that much to worry about unless you're misbehaving... like some idoits that got caught smoking pot on the floor above me.
