Ah, well it would appear Kazan is the worlds worst loser.

Not that I wasn't gutted Shrub was re-elected of course, but you never saw me go on a rampage over it either.

He's been repeating himself since his first post. ::roll:

His economics knowledge is crap; he keeps repeating misconceptions that you learn are false in the first few weeks of Economics 101... such as tax being passed on in its entirety to consumers. I'd counter them, but I've got exams this week so I can't afford to constantly read the thread. *sigh*

He's wrong when he rants about sales tax being "regressive" too, but I don't have time to deal with that either. Someone needs to find out where Alpha Mojo went and get him to make another post. :D

I don't know a single thing about economics, but even I can see he's not able to provide any concrete evidence; I think I've asked him 2 or 3 times to provide demographic info to back up his claims... and I've also realised his math was well iffy, because it's using a tailor-built example of a single large purchase where the cost price isn't proportional to the earnings difference (a single house isn't a suitable model for determining the differences between net spending of middle & upper class people, is it?). He's also ignoring quantity of purchases.

NB: must never ever let Kazan register and have access to this forum......

Well, the thing is, the purchase of a house is a major transaction in someones life, it only happens 2-3 times for most people. So using such a rarely occuring expenditure as a guide is a bit silly ;)

GODDAMIT.
Look at that thread he made about that sign. What a ###. Hes sticking a stick into a hornets nest. There is no way in hell that those signs resemble facism. I just dont see how he thinks that way. If people dont want the damn signs they will friking ignore them. They might as well be advertiesements for a product, no one is being forced to do anything by merely putting up a sign! I might fight this one out. Anyone else feel the same way?

Kazan's earned his title of Don Quixote, that's for sure... but occasionally he does tilt at a giant, in my opinion. Of course, 99% of the time, that Bart picture is dead on... or might as well be, because of how he does business.
