I don't have analog sticks. I have a single joystick. With a shonky trigger.
Well, you have a stick for the game, and a stick for the...other game. I hope the right one has the busted trigger.
What other game?

NB: GTA4 is a very poor conversion, IMO. Riddled with bloated crap like Games for Windows, and far too resource intensive.

Civilizations 4, and who knows what else. Maybe Shattered suns.

You bought more games? I thought you were banned from buying games (you mentioned that from one of the previous posts). You must been sugary sweet to Mrs. Aldo to unban you... or she didn't know you bought more games!

Mrs Aldo is very forgiving.

Hopefully.

On the original topic - little big planet looks interesting, but my post christmas finances are looking like being too sick to support too many personal purchases, so I may have to make a few covert suggestions to family members...

I'm planning PS1 nostalgia raid on ebay. Top 'o the list; Ghost in the Shell.

Wait... I'm guess it has nothing to do with the Anime series...

You're guessing wrong.

edit: Got AceCombat 2 and Ghost in the Shell. Bidding on G-Police and Rage Racer. :)

Red Alert 3. Red Alert 3. Red Alert 3.

Assuming EA haven't ruined it of course. And maybe Crysis Warhead. No snide comments (or truths as you may try to pass them as) on the Crysis series, I can play them just fine and I love them.

Also Aldo, I don't like the fact that you fire can win the game for you. Well, that only happened in one case of playing it.

Did you ever hear of why there are no predators in FC2? Only Herbivores? It was a very funny story actually. The Lions they added in ate all the herbivores within minutes of starting a game, and groups would work their way to the spawn points so any other animals that spawned would be instantly eaten. When this happened, the other lions just went into the built up areas and ate the NPCs. There was one hilarious case supposedly where the player went after some kind of boss, only to get there and find a pack of lions eating him.

Of course Ubisoft failed many times to balance them, and they were just axed from the game altogether.

I love the fact that fire can win for you... nothing more fun than raining molotovs from high ground (and nothing worse than being caught in a fire started by your own rocket-launcher exhaust)

I read that without knowing the context. Fun times.

RA3, probably. Fallout 3.

Word of warning about Warhead, it has...issues. That you could run Crysis assures nothing.

Well, one 9800 GTX+ installation later, and it's a bit better. Still laggy on the CPU side, natch, but gorgeous graphics.

What do you mean by 'issues'? I thought that after the optimisation and all it would run better.

Unless you are talking about that DRM that everyone is complaining about.
