How many original models have been released in the last month or so?
How many original models do you really need?
Much as we don't like to admit it, all of us having mucked around with modelling or wanting new ships for our campaigns, none.
I find it a telling indicator of the drain of talent from the 'core'. It seems to me that those who can do this sort of thing no longer choose to invest their time in Freespace (and, no, TCs don't count precisely because they are TCs).
It is because they have a thing called a "life".

Even still, there is probably a whole load of stuff out there that hasn't been archived or stored properly - It's scattered all over filesharing sites, personal webspaces etc.

Everyone has some amount of free time; question is what they do with it. If you're talking about people who enjoy modelling (etc), then the question is what and where they choose to model. If the lead guitarist leaves a band, you don't assume the lead guitarist decided to become an accountant - you wonder what made them leave the band.

If Lost Souls is really dead, could you at least release the stuff that was already done?

I'm saving it in case I find another use. Also, much of it has been deleted, and much of it is incomplete.

I'll leave it to you to delete the stuff you want in your account, Aldo.
