Now that's rare, I haven't seen FantomEye for ages, or at least, I haven't seen any posts from FantomEye for ages.

I know it's their board and they can do what they choose, but other than Kalf and Goob, I've seen precious little of Administration on HLP for a while. Fury was around and then vanished for about a month, Windrunner has only just reappeared, and Styxx is very rarely around. Personally, I think that is part of the problem.

As soon as i made my premature assault on grognards forum (phreak pretty much made the exact points i was going to as soon as i spammed up to 4096 posts) there seems to have been a large amount of coverups going on.

Ngtm1r, I only banned you because you and BD had gotten in fights before. And I highly doubt that would affect SA. Just hang in there for two days.

Kazan would have gone apeshit anyways, the comment he responded to had already been made.

While we're on that subject, for f###'s sake, why wasn't Kaz banned? He's the one who totally f#####g lost it and was threatening physical violence!

There is a thread. I happen to post in it. So do a few others. However a good 50% of the posts are simply Kazan and BD yelling at each other. Now, it is worthwhile to remember that they are in the end responsible for their own actions. Yes, them acting better would require them to have the maturity of a retarded wombat, but that isn't my problem and it sure as hell wasn't Ford's or an0n's that they don't have it.

For no discernable reason, bans are handed down regarding it a day late. Most of these do not make sense when examined.

Now, this leads to the conclusion that the adminstration is both slow to appreciate reality and then, once they finally do, appreciate it inaccurately. Perhaps willfully so; there doesn't seem to be any other good reason why Blackdove has lasted this long. Perhaps I'm merely here with a fresh perspective and there is some lingering respect for him. But that has no place in adminstration decisions. This was extremely poorly handled.

BD, zylonbane, kazan, and an0n, not to mention colonel dekker have been in need of atleast a week's ban for some time now.

I'm not entirely sure what an0n has done recently to merit a bad. BD needed a good hiding for a while though, and Kaz has been warned before not to get out of hand - so he too should suffer this time.

an0n, and to my knowledge Dekker, haven't done anything particularly bad.

Were I in a particularly cynical mood I would charge that everyone else was banned to give some appearance of fairhandness rather than "we banned BD for mouthing off to the admins"...nevermind we would have been perfectly understanding had that been the reason.
