I got an interview for Musgrave Park hospital on Thursday \o/
Here's hoping it goes well.
Also, I see a dissapointing lack of paper piggies! Where are the fruits of your labours?

Those guys are f#####g morons. Graduate fair 2006:aldo wrote:Local or across the British Isles?Martinus wrote:I've been hunting for a placement job for what feels like forever. Biomed. jobs seem few and far between.Taristin wrote:/me thinks Marty von Martinburgh needs a summer job >..>;;
I had an interview with a firm in Inverness (LifeScan Scotland) a while ago that did medical work (diabetes testing devices), not sure if they do placements though.
The work search is an utter b#stard, though. Took me about a year to find this job....
Me: "Hi, I've got an honours degree in Computing - and I'm diabetic so I know a bit about your products - do you have any openings in I.T?"
Her: "Uhh..."
Me: "Well I imagine the software for your testing devices..."
Her: "No not really, we're looking for business graduates."
Me: *squint of doom*

I applied before the graduate fair; R&D or something similar. Then I went to the graduate fair, and asked for info; 'nope, nothing' (etc). And then I got offered - surprisingly - an interview. Went up, did the interview in Inver-bollocksfreezing-ness, and then got phoned back to tell me they couldn't really see what I could do for them. Well, no s### sherlock.......vyper wrote:Those guys are f#####g morons.
