Why do we need an image for "popular" threads? I think reply and page length would tell me that.. >..>

Doubly confusing as the sub-forum icon can show up as yellow (new posts) when in actuality all the topics are orange.
It's too complicated, IMO. Just have 'new post since last read' / 'no new post' indicators. there's already an indicator for popularity in the form of the view and reply columns, anyways.

They're...interesting. Maybe it's just because they're different, but they don't seem right. I don't think they fit the feeling of EVE\Descent\FS...

But then again, you can't have a button that depicts EVE/Descent/Freespace can you now? This is a general site, and shouldn't slant towards one side from now on.

Why not just a plain circle of colour?
New icons are much clearer, though.

Granted Hunter, but I meant something along the lines of... they don't feel "spacey" I can't really explain it... But the don't seem to fit. Since it's general, yes it can't slant toward a certain game, maybe the old ones are better...
