Lost a Dominix earlier... I logged out of the game and left EVE at the character selection screen, going for 15 a minute break. I returned to find I was logged in and docked. Oh, I'm dead! Wonderful. There goes 120 million including clone. Yes, it was insured, but thats how much I calculate I've lost even after insurance.

So wtf? Your character auto-logs in after a certain time? bahhhhhhhh

That is the most money I've ever had and 3 times what i have right now. You have my pity. 'Course the 0.0 denizen that you are, you'll probly have that made back in a day or 2.

Conquerable Stations are NPC Stations you can take over.

POS are Industry-Type stations.

Outposts are player built stations you can dock with and use actual facilities.

Heh, I've never seen them either yet, but I'll get there, Eve is an absolutely massive game, it takes time to start truly realising the depth of it. But as you get more skills and experience you'll find you are left alone more.

You can see them and quite safely too. Go to Alparena and to Planet 5 I think, then scan the moons. Theres quite a few around there and its friendly to Sectorgame like corporations.

i can attest to teh massiveness of the game. I seem to spend more time at Jump Gates than I do actually making money.

I know the feeling. Once you get up to level 3 missions though, you can make some decent cash, and the loot is pretty good as well.
Oh, and regarding POSes. They're basically deathstars. You need a fleet to bring them down.
They can only be placed on moons in 0.3 space or lower. They sit on the warp in point and will blast anything they are set to fire at. We set ours to fire at anything under 5.1 standings. If you arent blue to us, you get vaped.

Well, I applied to join SG, but after the reboot I came back to the game, tried to go from Renyn to Ourslaert. Now I seem to have become stuck in a jump somewhere between the two, because while I saw the Ourslaert system screen, my ship never emerged. After five minutes I restarted, and now I can't join using my character.

Hmmm.. you may need to petition, looks like you were unfortunate enough to get stuck Happens from time to time and usually gets resolved pretty quickly (In fact, they may well have fixed it over downtime )
