hmm i was thinking of this BB setup

Highs
2x 650mm Artillery with Nuclear or Fusion Ammo (Explosive)
2x Heavies with Thunderbolt (EM)

Mids:
3x Multispec (or racial if you know what you're going up against)
3x Turret Destabilizers (or 2x Destabs and a warp scram)

Lows to suit, possibly something that enhances capacitor capacity or recharge


If that doesn't fit replace the heavies with assault launchers and Sabretooths

Turret Destabilizers are useless. You're better of with Sensor Damps or more Jammers.

I just get a little frustrated sometimes, especially when I've read yet another EVE forum thread about how, if you don't do it this way or that you are screwed and listen to the alts in game droning on and on about their wads of dough and that you are potentially safer in very low sec than in higher low sec. It may be, but I'm having fun just fine in the noobie corp. Someone recently drew one of those missions where Serpentis stages a full scale raid at one of the stargates. I was having a blast shooting at BS after BS in my little Thorax and it's little 200mm rails and watching my 4 mighty drones sweep in and empty fire in them.

ok sounds good. don't want too many multispecs or else the cap would die. btw, 2x CPRs are in the lows

In G space i use a Megathron for rat hunting. Working for T2 large hybrids now. Already got T2 small blasters and Rails at lvl4.


Pve:

7x 350mm Large Rails (AM for short range, Iridium Long range)
1x cruiser Launcher ( Thermic Cruise missile)

4x fixed parralel link-cap 16.5% recharge rate.

1x Large named armorr repper.
1x T2 medium repper.
1x named Kinetic Hardner.
1x Named Thermic Hardner.
1x T2 Mag Stab.
2x Cap relay's.

8x heavy drones, Ogers and Wasp drones 4 of each type.


My Thorax.

4x Light T2 neutron Blasters
1x Med Nosferato or a extra neutron blaster

1x Langour drive disrubter
1x 7.5km Warp scrambler
1x Cap recharger T2

1x Med T2 repper
1x Small T2 repper
2x Hardners (depends on what/who you are fighting)
1x cap relay.

I used a standard Punisher frigate fitted with 3x neutron blasters (had no lasers in my hanger) 1x small nosf, 2x cap rechargers, 1x 1mn AB, 1x small named repper, 1xhardner and 2x cap relay. killed a 750k battlehsip and 4 cruisers in a belt under 15min:)

Same. Punishers are awesome.
I use an Apocalypse myself though

I have a Geddon, but i use that one for mining only:D although i have Amarr BS at lvl4 and large laser at lvl4 i hardly use it as a combat ship.
I rather use the Megathron or Raven as combat ships. And the Iskhur assault frigate:D
