What concerns me most about this is what happened with Sectorgame, in other words, whilst the final big outtage was the worst, it was actually the little ones that happened every month that were more annoying, obviously, no fault of Hunters'.

When HLP first went down, I was checking twice an hour, this time I found it had gone down, and I check maybe twice a night. HLP WILL lose people if this goes on for too long, and the Freespace community can't afford that.

LOL great comic :D

Btw would be great if you added "By Gamers for Gamers" somewhere in the bottom.. ;)

Just the amount of n00bs we might be loosing, especially the SCP people, might be rather big. And missing the wiki is even worse, since a lot of stuff has to stand still now.

I wasn't kidding about renting our own server, and I'd be willing to pay about 10$ a month, if you give me a secure way of paying.

Well, yeah, but you'd need the HLP name and stuff........

I'm scared to ask what things you'll expand

Why would I need the name if it would be a refuge, the last best hope for p.. er.. scp? Besides, your barking up the wrong theoretical scenario tree - Won't happen. :P

Nice comic.

This place has kinda moved from refuge to permenant vacation spot, for me, though.

No political threads, no rants for me to ge involved, few major debates, ah, I feel better coming to this page.

And no, Hunter, I do *not* want access to the Rants forum all that much. It's not good for my mental health (what there is of it after my junior year of high school, anyway).

LOL Before HLP went down, the rants section was like a good natured HLP thread ;)

I can safely say that visiting the SG forums will be one of the permanent places I visit in the future.
It's nice here...so peacefull....so....serene is the word I think. Don't think its a good idea to spoil all that with a mass flooding from HLP...but thats just me :P :)

And thanks :D

Well, to be honest, most of the strife at HLP is caused by the following:

1)Thunder(that 'retired admin' locks so many threads that don't need to be. Well, maybe I just hate him.)
2)Kazan(wow...what more is there to say)
3)Zylonbane(trolling king)
4)Grudges held by political debates taken(ya know, there really needs to be a separate political forum. I hate reading those threads)

Feel free to add on :p

I've never really run into Zylonbane. And yes, I think it would be better for everyone if the expressly political threads were placed in a seperate forum but the other forums (and threads, for that matter) seem fairly apolitical and polite.

After all, there are no smileys for flicking people off at HLP.

0X :thefinger:

The prosecution rests it's case.

(Those are not directed at anyone, except maybe GS's staffers who won't get off their collective ass and fix things at HLP :x )
