Not quite, we live on a sphere in 3d space as such that if you travel in one direction long enough you'll get back to where you started.

Well, since common theory is that the entire universe is on the surface of a bubble, the maths all get a bit weird when talking about 3-Dimensional objects on a 2-Dimensional surface

the earth is still flat though.
I respect these guys ( the flat-earthers) more than you do. they don't just go with everything that people say and instead try and figure things out for themselves.
they're still wrong though.

The universe consists of a series of pieces of flat paper on a flat desk, each piece containing highly detailed drawn flat galaxies with flat planets in it.

Yes, they read all the information, consider it carefully, then decide they don't like it and then make completely random s### up instead.

I read the "FAQ" for their forum, and what i got out of it is what I get out of a lot of religous arguments "We don't have much, if any, evidence, but we like our way of thinking anyway."

Just to say, only a few of the people on that forum actually believe in Flat Earth, the rest (like the former president of Iraq) just hang out.
