To be fair how many heavyweight boxers do you know who aren't black? The statistics seem about correct to me. Very few white, mostly black, no sign of asians, orientals or hispanics.

I must be the only person who watched that film without knowing Apollo was killed. I saw the trailers a few years later and couldn't believe how much they gave away. Not to mention the Tagline

On a second note, have you ever noticed that all of Rockys' enemies, in all of the films, are black? With the exception of one guy who is a Russian (who he miraculously manages to defeat despite him being 7 foot tall and having a punch of 2000 psi) and some hopefull with talent and too much attitude.

Something screams 'Racist' and 'Propoganda' here doesn't it?

Well he has 5 opponents and 2 of them are white, he can't have exactly equal numbers of each out of 5 opponents.

One thing people never mention is how much off an arsehole Apollo's trainer was. When Rocky lost all his money in V, this man who'd managed two World Heavyweight Champions didn't lend him anything, even though it had been his fight as much as Rocky's that had caused the Brain Damage.

The Black people were also American. If the films were racist, the protagonist's best mate wouldn't be a Black Man who he risks his life to avenge.

White americans hate black americans until they show that they are better than the black americans in front of massive amounts of people. They then befreind them having shown their superiority and proceed to attack and best the one thing they always hated more- Russians. After beating the Russian in an impossible match he will proudly proclaim the movie-truth that he has beaten the black guy again by beating the Russian that killed him. He will then fight some other guy and another black guy. Then the novelty will wear off and guys like me will say that it is racist and that white americans hate black americans until they show that they are better than the black americans in front of massive amounts of people.
