Manchester NH, USA, about 20 minutes from here.
That's about 7 hours away from Manchester, UK :D

See, we're neighborers!

New England is loaded with Old England names. Do any of these sound familiar? Concord, Chichester, Boscowen, Cantebury, Epsom. These are all a few ~ ten minutes drive from Pembroke. I grew up in Alfred (Maine) and there are a good number of New Londons... (New Hampshire, Conneticut, Rhode Island, that I know of...)

So I guess we aren't very original when it comes to names. But the settlers who came here were not looking to be origanal, they wanted reminders, familier names. They should have stayed in Europe, of course, instead of coming here to steal the land from us.

That was the 75% of me that's Indian. Native American, from the Nashaway Tribe. I am a descendant of King Philip... Do you know the story of Pocahontas?

Me too, it's very interesting... My Dad had 6 brothers and 6 sisters. There are three remaining.

The original Battle Star Galactica was good, in a corny sorta way. The new one sucked, I stopped watching after maybee a dozen episodes.

Hmmn, bit disapponting not to see the Cylon raid on the BattleStar Fleet. Having the peeps talk about it wasn't quite the same.

..Well you might be in luck, because the miniseries 'Razor' is going to cover the Pegasus during it's escape from the Cylons.

Watch something entirely before judging IMO. You might hate a book, but doesn't mean you can judge it unless you finish it. If you don't, your not entitled comment. :P

Well I watched from the first episode, there was nothing about it I liked.
Should I read every book in the library all the way through on the off chance I might like the last chapter of a few?

If you want to truly be amongst the literati you must read all the books you know you'll hate sp you can be smug and superior when you talk about how bad they are.

Then your place on Newsnight Review is secure.

What? Man-at-arms? As long as I'd get to bang The Sorceress it sounds worth it.
