Not necessarily. I said contemporary, not similar, for a reason.

While I'm here I'll contribute slightly more by observing one of my main problems with metal/whatever is that most the people I can stand are really excellent musicians.

Then they have to go and friggin' open their mouths and ruin everything.

It's not a problem exclusive to the genre, but it seems more prevalent there then in most.
