Snow in London is pretty to look at first thing in the morning, but by around midday it's slush, which isn't nearly as aesthetically pleasing

quite true. and the snow has mostly melted (:() only a little slush remains. we had the 28th and 29th off, and the 30th was a one hour late start. most of our classes are in disarray and due to this i'm about 4 days ahead w/ the work in almost every class! (i actually did the hw during the snow days)
