The 4pm game was good. The 11:30pm game was a little better to begin with, until someone arrived who had the ego to ask Jake to switch teams "for pitys sake".. when in fact the reason I couldn't kill him was simply because he wasn't registering any hits.

If there's one single thing I can hate about playing online, it when people can't catch a single packet - making them invincible when they shouldnt be :P

So eventually I got violent. I started shouting, waking up the entire house, plus I started throwing things off my desk in frustration. The language I was using was.. colourful. It's not worth playing someone if they are invunerable ;)

Good game anyway, Jake. You're better than I expected.

Thanks for the complement. YOu weren't bad yourself.

As for that game... I didn't see anything about "For pity's sake... As for missing packets, I knew there was somthing fishy! there were a few times when I hit him with plasma, D3 even showed the impact texture, but there wasn't the damage sound, or his shields didn't become visible for a brief time.
I was trying to get enough evindece to accuse him of hacking, but something that I read off of the [NuB] web site said, "If you're going to accuse someone of cheating, don't." Besides, I didn't have enough proof, I wanted to go piggyback as he\she fought, but since we're the only ones there...made it kinda hard...

Hehe, well, sorry I couldn't play. I'll be popping in the chat room on and off today so I'll be able to play a bit if you happen to come on.

I'll be back on.

I wouldn't say he was hacking, he was just too lossy and wasn't catching my weapons fire packets. What am I saying? I used to play on 56k and have a lag of 650ms :)

Let's make those times fixed to every weekend - So you just turn up in the chat room, hang about and wait and see who shows. It's either a play or don't play, really....
