Which has the effect of making those who actually know something about computing less interested in the place as most of us tend to buy AMD processor based computers :)

It's all in the aim of trying to cram lots of buzzwords together to make something sound technical, brand new and great.

It's a Pentium4 processor, with hyper threading.

I don't know what's worse. That they cram technobabble into computer ads, or that they do the same in shampoo ads.

Yes.. pumping trance. Multiplies the 'amazing great must-buy product' factor by 10.

I'm going to get a transcript of one of their adverts and put it up here just to show the world how rediculous it is.

The Dell XPS ad does it as well. No mention of little things like Graphics Crads or anything. No no no, it's got a P4, that's all you need to know.
