Yes, you definitely need to try D3, or any of the Descent titles, for that matter. The little hooded dudes are nomads living on Mars who became physically deformed after too much radiation exposure. They appear in the sixth level of the main D3 campaign. The only real notable thing about them is that they subtract from your score if you go around shooting them.

I'm a veteran of the first two Descent titles and Destination Saturn.

I never actually saw D3 for sale anywhere, so I didn't get it.

Really? I'm a veteran too. Wait, veteran? Can't say I ever talked about myself that way before. Anyway, I picked up D3 asap... You should try it. Stick it on full detail with 5.1 sound, still pretty good...

Are some of these shots from D3 multiplayer-specific levels or some other D3 version I don't know about? There are some places and bots I don't recognize at all, like the room with the green datascreens, the space shots, and that nasty-lookin bossbot O_o (not the one from level 15, whatever his name is...)

What's that Pyro variation? I don't think it's the black Pyro.... *scratches head* It looks very nifty indeed

I should take come more screenshots sometime... if only I could shoot and press Printscreen at the same time lol

So I guess I'll have to install a software firewall to successfully play games with anyone now, unless I get a new router that lets D3 in
