Kewl.
All righty. I've been talked into it. I'll be downloading and installing Eve soonish.
So keep your eye for a poor little noob trying to figure out how to make his way in the universe.

Think I'm getting the hang of things.
I'll spend some time mining and maybe get a freightor to do some more heavy mining.
Then when I have a decent ship I hunt out Renyn.

Or I might just come and find you guys already.

I WAS doing pretty welll...till I got podded by an NPC bot before I could run away
Well, after an hour or two, manage to reclaim the loss and avenge myself! Got a new rifter, but sadly I've lost most of the neat stuff I had picked up in my old one.
Still, one learns and moves on. i've now learned the value of two shield boosters as opposed to one

When setting up your ship, try to fit the maximum you can get on - But don't over do it. Also, study the different ammo types available for your weapons. If you click the little blue info icon, or right click on ammo and "SHOW INFO", you can see the attributes of each ammo type. Also, when you load ammo into a weapon (or a crystal) if you right click the Turret to SHOW INFO, it will display what it can do with that ammo, i.e. range and damage. It will change everytime you put new ammo in.
The rifter for NPCing, is good with 3x 250 Artillery cannons and 1x rocket launcher. Also, try to fit a Small Shield Booster instead, and put some Capicitor Power Relays in the low slots to help you with cap.

hm...so that means the autocannons aren't exactly worth it in this case?
I dont have hte skills for the RL or the capacitors yet, but i'll heed ye advice and cut down from 2 shield boosters to one....

I've just picked up a nice Amarr Industrial ship so I can start increasing my mining performance

It's in a 0.4 but in a nice quiet area, so I'll pick that up today. Wasn't too bad a price either, 580K

Course, thanks to me you can afford it.
Singh, autocannons have good tracking, but very close range and limited against larger targets. Artillery cannons on the other hand can be varied to shoot long range, or dish out high damage at close range (Orbit tactics work best with Artillery). The cap relays don't need much training, only a couple hours, I think just level 1 or 2 of something. They will really help your recharge rate, as a small shield booster will drain pretty fast.

LOL Indeed, though I did do a whole bunch of missions to help finance it, and now at least, I can start earning some money back

Only own side is that even if I repackage the punisher, I still have to leave it at the station I bought the Bestower at. Ah well, I can always go get it later
