I guess I should mention that I was told that only the MCT-somethingorother was the only one with hardware sound...and those ARE hard to find.

All the deluxe boards should have it. They aren't that hard to find.

I was looking at the (then)sub-$100 boards though. To give you an idea as to my budget of the time, I ended up with a $38 dollar MSI 745 Ultra, so I was nowhere near the nf2 deluxe boards.
