MS: no, i mean the cockpit itself. not the interface. i was saying the interface looks fine when its not aligned to the rest of the cockpit.

Grim, our interface is basically the same as theirs, substantively. There's no physical cockpit, just a HUD, just like it is in FreeLancer...

Grim, whether or not the default display is a cockpit is debateable, if that's what you're getting at...
Otherwise, I have no idea what you're talking about.

If you have a mission with an Ezechiel, try the chase cam. (have inferno released anything with this fighter yet?)
Insofar as I know no-one has done a proper cockpit.

I don't think they've released much about it, yet...
Saga wants to make cockpits, but they're asking the SCP about it, I think.

hey, wait a sec, in MODveiw, cant you choose where to place the camera?
its not hard to model in a small, lo-poly cockpit with god visibility most of the time.

Yes, but no. Your ship isn't rendered in standard view mode, hence having to modify the chase camera view.

bleh. that sux. is it possible to change it so the ship is rendered (easily? if its easy... heck, ILL learn how to do it

!)
oh, and *good, BTW

sorry.

sorry, i mean the asteroid groups are seperate in an inferno mission.
as for the cockpit thats not all that hard to change, or it shouldnt be - where all the cockpit items are (i forget which vp) u should be able to change those into ruffly cockpit looking things, and thru trial and error, fit them all together

Its a pain in the arse, actually. Especially for 2 seaters......

well, think perseus. the camera would actually be thrust pretty far forward (as if the pilot was leaning) so in the perseus, since it has a semi-wraparound cockpit wouldnt be much different.
as for the myrmidon for example, it would again be 'leaning' forward, so the only thing annoying there would be the bars across the cockpit window.
same for hercules, (ursa would be tough), medusa, everything (cept shivan fighters. theres no evidence that they have windows in their cockpits, so they might do it all by computer or something...
well... maybe it is, i dunno.

Grim, model something and then show us so we can see what you're talking about.
I've played WC so long that I'm used to cockpits, but not everyone is...
