Yes, but no. Your ship isn't rendered in standard view mode, hence having to modify the chase camera view.

sorry, i mean the asteroid groups are seperate in an inferno mission.
as for the cockpit thats not all that hard to change, or it shouldnt be - where all the cockpit items are (i forget which vp) u should be able to change those into ruffly cockpit looking things, and thru trial and error, fit them all together

well, think perseus. the camera would actually be thrust pretty far forward (as if the pilot was leaning) so in the perseus, since it has a semi-wraparound cockpit wouldnt be much different.
as for the myrmidon for example, it would again be 'leaning' forward, so the only thing annoying there would be the bars across the cockpit window.
same for hercules, (ursa would be tough), medusa, everything (cept shivan fighters. theres no evidence that they have windows in their cockpits, so they might do it all by computer or something...
