The original Moslems themselves, or at least the people they decended from are believed to have been originally from China/Tibet etc. No-one was really 'anywhere' originally. We are now pretty sure that not one human in the United Kingdom is truly 'indigenous', even the Celts and Picts have Norweigan and French blood at the very least.

It's like the whole 'crusade' thing. I wonder how many people know why the first crusade started? It was because the last bastion of the Holy Roman Empire in the Middle East was being attacked by a Muslim army.

The thing is that those lands have been occupied by transient tribes for thousands upon thousands of years, from the 'Arians' who are actually 'Iranians' and NOT Hitlers blond haired, blue-eyed fever-dream race, to Syrians, Hittites, Babylonians etc etc etc.


The Emnity between Christian and Muslim faiths has been going on for thousands of years, but the cold fact of the matter is that, until very recently, Christianity was doing most of the persecuting.

I don't think the question is 'Should Israel be there?' that annoys the Middle East so much but more along the lines of 'Why is Israel being deliberately elevated to a point where they can, and do take advantage of that superiority?'.

If you mean the crusades, Those people were not very smart. Then something about they attacked the jews when someone told them the had a secret tresure. But, you're right tho they think that were evil because we kill the ones, who try to kill us.

Except in Iraq and Afghanistan. Just as you see all the arabs as Muslims, do they see all the Americans as Jew allied Christians, who've invaded their lands.

An interesting fact is that, during the crusades, quite often if armies couldn't find any Palestinians to kill, they'd go slaughter some Jews and raid their homes instead, it was a religious crusade as much as everyone was religiously trying to pillage as much as possible. But that's really where the similarity ends.

Actually, if you look at it, pretty much every faith is busy killing another at some point in time. It just depends on how much you slant the various wars / civil conflicts towards religion and away from other reasons.

As BW said, Christians are killing Muslims in Iraq & Afghtanistan. It's no less a valid viewpoint than regarding arabs as being somehow 'to blame'.

Also don't forget that one of the first things the Crusaders did was to sack Constantinople (despite the fact that it was a Christian city at the time!)
