Until you mentioned it I forgot I had one (Firefox doesn't even give me a red X so I see nothing in the place where it should be). :)

Hmmm. It used to be a pic of my Styx class frigate till I decided it was too ugly to live. Maybe I'll have to go back to that now that I've got a new version :)

I don't recall much activity in the campaign Singh and I were a part of....
Yeah. I found that rather odd cause the other two were steaming ahead.

I'll have to take a good hard look at FA and get things rolling once HLP is back up and running. I'm still considering the project something of an experiment at the moment so any ideas to make things work better are more than welcome :)

Nice ship, Karajorma. What type is it again?

Roanoke/Karajorma, would that be the second FA campaign? I signed up to do mission 6, but I still haven't looked at it at all :P. Once HLP gets back up, I'll start fooling around with it.

Almost correct. It's an unmodified Typhon :D There's nothing new about it at all. It's just that for once it's against a light background so you can actually get a good look at it :D

Glad to hear that :)

What are the FA campaigns again? I haven't been paying that much attention, personally.

There are actually four of them. Two for retail and two for SCP. The 4th is as yet undecided but when I last looked getting everyone to FRED Neo-Terra Victorious was leading the pack. Two of the others are based on a reappearance of the NTF and the last one is based on a group of capships that caught behind enemy lines in the last days of the 2nd Great War.

I am sad. No one even deigned to ask any questions about HFH, or what HFH is about. :(

What is HFH?

Don't be sad. I remembered what you said about it earlier so I didn't feel the need to ask. :D

Hehe. :)

HFH is Heroes For Hire. Obviously it's an FS2 campaign, and it's set in 2374. :P

The GTVA Navy was decimated seven years ago, at Capella. Pirates have been using this as an opportunity to raid and pillage everything in sight, and local resistance groups have been rising up almost as fast as the GTVA's increasingly beleaguered forces can put them down. And the one-two punch of the Russik Incident and the Tau Sigma Incursion certainly didn't help things at all.

This is where mercenaries come in: warriors ready to fight for the highest bidder. You are a pilot for Redstar Mercenaries Incorporated, or RMI for short. On your way back to civilization from a job in the remote Mintaka nebula, you start to hear rumors of a new contract with someone outside the Navy...

I can't tell you any more, suffice to say I want you to guess based on upcoming screenies, and my forum location. Squirm, puny mortals! ::twisted:

(What I can tell you is this: it is not, I repeat NOT, another "OMFG Teh NTF is bakc!!" campaign.)

Oh, and squirm some more, since you won't have any Kaysers, Maxims, Trebuchets, or elite fighters during the entire campaign. But don't worry. You get a refurbished Valkyrie, with Sahr ML-62's, Prom-R's, and Interceptor missiles. ::twisted:

(...It's not as bad as it sounds.)

I'm aiming for it to be challenging, but not crazy-hard. 8)

Give me the MODs necessary and one or two missions, I'll do 'em for you. I'm kinda stuck with nothing to do until HLP comes back up; I foolishly didn't copy the story for my FRED Academy mission to my computer, and now I don't quite remember what the heck I was supposed to do.

Mmkay.

I'm a bit held up until I can split the files into 5MB chunks (damn you, email size limit!), unless someone would be willing to host a 25MB file.

(edit: which would be moot anyways, since i couldn't SEND it in that size anyhow. damnit.)
