Unfortunately, some of them would probably go to Volition Watch.

I like those guys but I have two problems:
One, my account is screwy so I can't post for some reason (I'm not banned, as far as I know, and I haven't done anything to be banned).

Two, the freaking pop-ups over there are exceedinly annoying. Everytime I click on a page, at least one if not two windows jumps up and I get interruptions in the browsing, etc. It's ridiculous.

Eh? Anyhow, what I mean is, if it doesn't come back soon I'll message them (I have a couple of them in my contacts) - When I catch them.

Yes, VWatch is a pain in the ass. Even the forums have ads, which is even more annoying.

VWatch used to have popup ads... Can't see them anymore, thankgod...

Well, I have a popup ad remover, but I also have the spybot thing, so it pops up with a window saying something about blocking "Avenue A" twice every time I open up any page on that site/forum. So I just don't bother anymore.

VW is indeed a pain in the ass, and on the verge of collaps itsself. SG sounds like a viable alternative, but it'd require quite a mass move to get that to work. And we'd be needing a bunch of extra mods/admins, and you'd be getting mountains of extra traffic. Meaning you might have to open a "help me pay for bandwidth" pay-pal acount.

^ An idea I have previously considered. I have had at least one donation while running this place when things were totally whacked, but for the moment it seems to be able to handle it. :)

I'd have to change the template though, because this one is "too small", but I will implement LVLSHOT in the next patch, see if it works - If it does, then screenies won't disrupt it anymore...

That doesn't mean that all of us are going away...

I was a lurker on this board for a while, and I'll probably continue posting every now and then, of if an interesting thread shows up.

These smilies bring back memories when HT had it's own entire forum. Back when F2S(Freedom2Surf) was free. Ah, the days :p
Of course, I'm glad those days are gone, too, ironically :D

Yes I recall that time too... Nice host too, good friends help me get a nice package for free ;)

Yeah, great host in terms of reliability and server uptime. But customer support was crap. I didn't even know that all my HT backup files and stuff would get deleted off their server becaues they were going to a paid service until it had already happened. Figures. Ah well.

Had no trouble with support here... mainly because they live down the road.
