Have either of you ever been to LA(Lower Alabama)? It's not so much possums down there, but Armadillos. They litter the sides of the road like cast off rubber from tractor trailers on the highway.

We typically hit roos once you get out of the city. Those things are solid. If you hit a big male, they'll often fly three metres through the air, get up, shake their heads and bounce back off into the bush. You're guaranteed a massive dent whatever you hit though.

So THIS explains the whole animal attack. 
This whole thing had me in stitches. As any of you who frequent HLP know, I've (under the name of Mongoose) been on the receiving end of some Kazan uber-ego posts recently. This is the first time I've been in this forum, and I have to say it's nice to know that some people share my views on Kazan. Seriously, I think he'd like to reach through his monitor and rip my head off. I know most of you probably don't agree with my views, but, as has been shown in the time since Kazan has been gone, that doesn't mean we can't have a reasonable discussion.
P.S. Looking at the one old thread referenced, I wish daveb was still around; he would have provided some interesting counterpoints to many of the posts going on. That's also the first posts I've seen by Top Gun; I would have registered under that name if it hadn't been taken. The scary thing is, his viewpoints seemed to be directly opposite mine.
