To be honest a lot of plotlines were poorly wrapped. The Weir storyline for one, and yes the 'Asgard' tribe felt rushed at the end. Were they all killed? I was never clear on that - but I am coming up on those episodes again soon. I also disliked SG-1's 'Unending' for killing off the Asgard though, that felt like a huge F:U to the fans just so they could have a big bang in the finale.

I think they were all killed.

SG1 kind of got out of hand in the end. I do remember the Anoobs god story being promoted the f*ck out of on free-to-air back in the day, and then the following season came along, and it all crashed and burned.

No, it was sort of implied in the episode that was not their only base - it was something they had discovered in search of the Atero-device. Dr Jackson also seemed to believe more of them were out there by the end of the ep. Also I think at least one of the ships escaped.
