39It's not that smart; just using a webspider to harvest forum posts from threads with very similar titles and regurgitating it. I have a sneaking admiration for whoever came with the idea for that approach, though.

45Bots aside there are actual people who spam forums with advertisements. They register, try to pass off as one of the denziens, then suddenly you get sneaky advertising in your topic.
