I've had it with HLP these days. The straw that broke the camel's back was the addition of non-admin moderators to HLP main. It's overkill, it's nonsense, and it's going to stifle discussion.

Oh, and the whole "we're rearranging the support forums... because." isn't washing very well either. You could reorg until hell freezes over and it won't change the fact that HLP cannot focus on it's modding and "straight edged" style any more - it's a community forum now, whether the admin wasn't to admit that or not.

Given that all three of them are here you might need to explain why it's stifling discussion to have non admin moderators.

It might stifle flaming and spam but I don't see a single effect it's had on discussion yet.

To be honest, I can't see any way why having more moderators is bad. It's only bad if they're total dicks, and that isn't the case.

Oh come on. I don't think any of us can claim to be idle. I intend to do as little work moderating Hard Light as possible. I'd love to have nothing to do as a moderator.

I doubt Flipside or Taristin is going to be closing stuff just because they can either.

See this is the stuff I knew was going to be brought up eventually. It's nothing to do with that and more to do with the fact I honestly believe HLP is once again being run using the "panic panic panic" button.

Not all people have been saying it. Those that are happy with the status quo don't say anything because they have nothing to complain about.

If you were happy with the status quo why the hell have you spent the last year or so saying that you never go to HLP cause it's crap now?

Hm, I was offered a position at HLP back when it started - I should've taken it now, and now I'd be CEO, mwahaha... haha.. hah. Eww.
