Its not a "must have" but is a "nice to have" 8)

This chat is a Applet-Based Chat of a Infochat-Server.
(free account for own def. parm. chat ; closed and opened chat supported)
You can "undock" the chatapplet and monimize the html-site if you prefer a seperated chat-window
http://root-b.serveftp.net/_sg/sg-infochat.html

If you want to modify size, style, layout, lang. ... :
Download the html-site and edit the values.
You can run this chat too by open the HTML-site on your PC at home

Its a the good old and known java-applet-chat of "infochat"
I used a long time the much older "chatserver"-console-software of this infochat (yes, i have a server-license for a version 1.x).
But was still a bit buggy, people disconnected sometimes a.s.o.

One of the best features of this chatapplet are the TopLine ...
- scrolling infotexts, can include a link to click on it,
- infotexts can be pre-defi. via txt-file by
[headline] ; infotext to scroll topside on chat
[url] ; link for the displayed text to click on it
[days] 1234567 ; Monday=1 - Sunday=7 ... days when to display
[times] hr:min-hr:min ; timeperiode to display

I think the newer versions have more options on this feature :)

OK, I've just seen the chat is public and there now are created more rooms with people in it ...
So the "privat" on this service dont work.

I'll waching out for my license and try to get it running stable...
ahhm ... how to run a java-console application via ssh on a Linux-Rootserver?
(I never did it before, this chatserver always i had running on windows-machines ...)
