I almost ruined a piece of furniture because of a "collision" problem with my head yesterday.

To end on an up note. I believe I'm coming out of my rut.
There is light at the end of the tunnel.

Things are starting to come together, I feel better about myself and my life.

Maths is okay if someone explains it to you properly.

As long as you know what they want you to do, and HOW you can do it, it works fine. The trouble starts when you actually need to UNDERSTAND the backgrounds of what you're doing.

Tell me about it. I had a rather nasty Differential Equations exam today that I spent fifteen straight hours (until after 5 AM, if anyone cares ) studying for. Add to that the fact that I absolutely bombed the first exam due to not devoting enough time, and I was under a lot of stress. Plus, the professor isn't exactly the best in the world, and the textbook, as many textbooks are, is a complete piece of crap. Thankfully, I think I managed to do rather well. If anyone still thinks plain calculus is bad, just wait until you reach a higher course. And suffice it to say that I'm not in the best mood today; I'm half-tempted to just pass out on my bed and sleep until 1 in the afternoon tomorrow.

So about a month ago I turn up at Northgate and hand over my forms - oops, sorry sir the person has to have known you for three years to counter-sign the application. (Me: f#####g grr, argh, bastards).

Last 4 weeks: Me goes, gets someone else to sign it, fill in entirely new form, pay 14 quid to get a copy of my full birth certificate, have a heart attack thinking I'd lost my wallet in Northgate while I'd actually left it in car...

Today: Sorry sir, you need your mother's birth certificate as well.
(me: How about a f#####g sperm sample while you're at it?!)

My mates: You need to get that sorted soon we fly out next month.
Me: I'm getting it 5-day special
Annoying girl I know: You know how much that'll cost you?
me: Yeah abo--
Her: 120 pounds!
Me: No it-
Her: Yes, it will trus...
Me: NO, it won't because I've checked this out.

It's getting that bad over here from what I understand. I've got a Canadian prof and they like to pull her off the plane as a terrorist when she flies to conferences.

Hehe freespace2pilot, but it may incite anger in others for hearing about someone having a good time, so win win for me.

Hmm here in Aus to get a new copy of my Birth certificate I just needed a few things such as bank card, tax file and I think something from my old school as well. Nothing about other people, just the knowledge of my mothers maiden name etc and an assortment of other family related questions.

Usually it takes several days to mail it, but they were actually having a slow day so they did it then and there for me for free of charge.
