Did you mop up the ensuing mess?
Strangely, in the last 2 or 3 hours, it seems to have gotten considerably better (painwise when walking at least)...
My hunches are:
A: they were brand new, tight fitting shoes, that i've worn since i fell/jumped... While not truly, they seem to be acting sortof like a splint, holding my foot stationary. (i was lucky when i found them, they fit the shape of my foot perfectly, and were just a tad on the tight side)...
B: Obviously, if it were a compound fracture, or even a severe simple fracture, i wouldn't be standing on it at all. That leads me to assume that its either a crack, or just a compression thing in my ankle (which i doubt, because when there is pain, its right at the bottom of the arch of my foot)...
C: One of the first things i did after i fell, was try to walk it off... So if my ankle had been pulverised, i probably would have noticed then...
D: Pain and the refelx to limp is going down a t a quick pace, which is good, considering i have Advanced Placement Gym (seriously, you need a teacher referral to get into it) 3 times this week...
So I think it'll heal OK over time... I remembr having this kind of pain once before, about 3 years ago, in my right fot, but closer to the ball of my foot, and it was also after i jumped from something (not nearly as high, but i landed on it), and it went away in a matter of days...
I don't think i'm going to go through the proscess of explaining to my parents how i had to sneak into the stage during a class they don't know i switched into, did something stupid, got hurt, and then tried to hide it, and now i thinki i need to go to the hospital, unless it gets so bad that i can't stand up (on 2 feet) without wincing... And everything in school tomroorw minus gym i sit the whole class anyway... And I went the day friday like this... So i'll let it be for now...
