Wow... brilliant! I'm sorry I came late to this. It's the perfect silent, nonsensical protest. 
MatthewPapa... I think you got pseudo-banned because you crossed the line from protest into spam. Keep the pictures on-topic, use only one per post, and don't double-post.
And I think we should stick to one animal per thread. A new thread requires a new animal. Sorry I missed the koalas.
Fortunately, the platypus hasn't been used yet.
