Intersting interpratation... I haven't heard that part about that particular acceptance before, StratComm. Where did you see it?

I don't remember offhand, but I do remember why. When you consider that the average human brain consumes no less than 20% of the body's energy, you pretty much need the constant conditions present in a homeothermic organism to support cognitive processes. Consciousness, at least as we know it, requires the brain to have a large energy supply available at all times, and without homeostatic conditions that just doesn't happen. In a true alien environment intelligence could develop in a largely divergant form of life, if the environmental conditions were more stable than anything we have here on earth. That doesn't suit the Vasudans at all though.

Grim: In a short, three-letter word, yes.

StratComm: Thanks. Intersting idea. I'm not sure if I agree with it entirely, but I'm not a bio major, either. I appreciate your prompt reply.

no comment

im thinking about making the parthenon a cutscene-only model. besdies, it would be in core systems, far away from where you will likely be. maybe ill get around to making an ingame version sometime (im better at un-detailing than just making it low-polyi n the first place) besdies, its like 9000 polys now.

I wasn't commenting on anything other than using it as a plot element rather than another thing to be blown up, Grim. That's not a comment on the model but rather on the usage thereof.
