I hope this doesn't stop the SCP guys working on the code.

I'd not be surprised if many people release the their work as soon as HLP is back up (Not only coders). They had enough time to work on it.

I used this time to work on some stuff for Inferno and the SF Mod.

Uhm... does the SCP actually try to surprise us? Besides, Raa, they could just make the forum open to public viewing but require you to be a member of that usergroup to post... that might stop some of them.

I always thought the point of an internal SCP forum was to stop the idiots posting "WE Want G30-moD and FpS moooD!" and soforth, rather than stopping people see who commented what bit of code et al.

Pretty much, yeah. And to stop people interrupting with annoying questions or comments whenever we're discussing code.

But Hunter set us up with an internal here, so we're all set. Our base of operations will still be HLP (when it goes back up) but we'll try to post our stuff here too.

This was my reasoning. Not for surprises, but then little asshats who shall remain nameless can't post in every topic requesting something that'd been denied 4 times already.
