FS2. FS1 has a great storyline but we've seen it before countless time. Ancient evil, two enemies must join together or be destroyed etc. About the only thing that surprised me was that they let Earth get cut off at the end.

With FS2 however I was wondering the whole time what was going on with Bosch. And I'm still wondering now. Was he right? Was he just mad? Was he being influnced by giant beings that live in the photosphere of stars? :)
And then there's the whole thing with the Shivans and Capella.

Some people complain about FS2 feeling unfinished but then I just point at Empire Strikes Back and say that the middle film of a trilogy is meant to feel unfinished :)

Your right there, I've often wondered if the story of FS2 was actually prewritten, and that on someones desk is a copy of the story that would have been the lead into FS3.

wow hippo... thats... impressive :|

well, FS2 has a great undescribed storyline, and the game itself if more fun, but FS1 just has that feeling in it...

and also let me point out that the chances of FS3 are remote at best.

BTW, did that things with FS3 and derek smart ever get resolved?

FS2. Thought it was a more interesting, layered storyline (Bosch, the knossos',etc alongside the Shivan invasion), better atmosphere (especially with the nebula), BEAMS!, better voice acting, more capships & diversity, and some of ther stuff.

Uh... you were wrong there buddy :p :smash: seems like FS1 blew FS2 out of the water...
