Ever played Allegiance?

hey just found this game and played a while multiplayer, anybody here tried this?

Allegiance is like a combination from freespace, xwing and realtime strategy, very cool:

you can fly as normal pilot or take the commander position, build bases, dig resources, research new tech for the pilots etc.

and the best thing, its absolute free

in my first game i shot down 8 pilots, a few miners and got killed only 3 times. guess my freespace /d3 experience pays of hehe.

I tried it, but didn't spend enough time getting to know the controls.

I did, however, rip the models I liked out, and ported them to Freespace.

While you could make a giant paperweight, with a little research you could make a super PC. I wish I had 3 grand to spend on mine.

I still wish I had $3k to build up my PC. As it is, I'm in need of 300 to upgrade.

played it, enjoyed it, now rather bored of it

Its most interesting when you have a lot of free time and a good team. Most of the time, I only get one
