I've seen that one before. Either you've somehow made some holes in the model or you've used a dodgy version of Lithunwrap on it.

Did you build the entire thing in TS?

truespace is awsome! this is the only problem ive found in it that i cant avoid OR fix. BTW, i have the solidify.tsx, but it says that it cant be found, even though i define it perfectly.

as for holes in the model, i dont think there are any. and how does lithunwrap apply to this? i havnt touched it! im afraid of it! :)
oh, ya, i made the entire thing in TS 3.2. actually, i have a backup saved, i might just start over from there... it would fix a lot of problems probably...

if you have the taskbar memorized, and your methods perfected, TS is a great proggy.

i fixed the model, i jsut started over from my most recent backup. im afraid the model is in the TI team's eyes only section, though... :)

Quit with the truespace hating Hippo. It's completely pointless.

If you find TS easy to use stick with it. If you don't either get some info for the format and write a plugin for PCS or just lump it. Moaning about how bad it is doesn't get anyone anywhere.

I'm not saying its a futile program, I just find it horribly confusing... While when i look at MAX 6, everything makes perfect sense... Just my opinion I guess...

youhave to have the taskbar memorized to make any use of TS. i have a good memory, os its not a problem :) plus, TS just makes more sence.

a agree, flip, VA's stuff is great, and i think he makes it in TS. :)

Still blender as much as possible here actually. :) Practicly everything with new/significantly-edited geometry i've done so far has been modeled in blender. I just find it so much more stable and flexible to model with than TS. (it can be as precise or as abstract as you wish)
The reason i've been using TS so much lately is because of the ** base. :) It's requirements are fairly different to a standard model since it involves using textured existing ships, which TS is definitly much better at handling then Blender.

As far as modeling preferences go, I like to use each program I have to it's most powerful aspect - Blender models best, LithUnwrap UV's best and works well in conjunction with PSP, and TS brings it all together into a convertable .scn :)
However, it's definitly all down to personal taste - I've tried 3dsmax and Lightwave, but never caught on very well at all. :\

As much as I like and use the other programs tho, the modeling stage in blender is by far the most enjoyable. No matter what the ship.
