lol, now poor Blackhole will need to start the takeover process all over again. :p

Anyway, this track has a nice choir component and a very nice percussion component, but they feel somewhat disconnected to me. Like there's a hole in between where other instruments would normally go.

Also, I thought the drums vaguely echo BSG, which is cool. :)

I think that hole is because this particular track would be best suited as a background score to something else going on. It's one of those situations where you don't want the music being too noisy and distracting from the story. Although Flip may never of had that intention, that's how I would utilize this piece :)

Heh! Actually, you're closer to the truth that you think, the reason there's that 'boing' at the end is for the something like 'Freespace SCP' or whatever to fade in ;) So I was certainly thinking in the terms of 'demo video' whilst writing ;)

I absolutely love it, but the WMA mix doesn't do it justice, the compression distorts the end. If I had the space I'd upload the 50Meg Wav file :)

I would have added more to be honest, but judging by the effects of having all those instruments, including the choirs running at once, even on the high-end computer was more like 'A Titan Stumbles' than 'A Titan Rises'.

LOL At 25k a second, I'll only upload it if someone really needs the .wav file, the .WMA is enough to get the feel, but all compressed formats lose stuff off the top and bottom. I might look at getting FLAC codecs at some point though, this one really does sound better when you can make out the distinct instruments at the end rather than it turning into a bassy rumble under the choir. ;)

Cakewalk refuses to render to .ogg for some reason, I'd have to port it out as a .wav file and then convert in another program. It's not impossible, but when I'm doing quick mixdowns like this, I get lazy ;)
