Well, I've finally returned to making some videos - To get warmed up I've started with Descent 2 Vertigo.
It makes for an uninteresting viewing - especially with the audio balance being out of whack and the technical issues.
But ya gotta start (again) somewhere. Expect more stuff soon. I promise!

When I watch this it reminds me of Hellbender released back in 1996, same year I believe

That background music is so unusual too, sounds like something out of Babylon 5.

Tried doing D2 again, but kept having serious lagging issues. So I fumbled around in Alien, instead:

I don't know what it was about the 90s but games released in the 2000s and 2010s have a different atmosphere to them. I played so many games in the 90s, and early 2000s but just so few onwards. Was it the lure of simplicity, maybe games today don't go anywhere or offer that sense of completion, or I could just be thinking about it too much

That's part of the reason that games like Minecraft are so popular, because they go against the grain of the triple AAA titles and lean towards that 90's nostalgia.

I never played Minecraft. Post 09' pc gaming is more of a fairy tale for me . Looking at the releases over the last few years I haven't missed out on too much

Gave up on Alien... Going to resume some Descent soon. Also bought a new copy of FS2, hope to give it a whirl

Well I FINALLY bought myself a new microphone and a new USB hub for my equipment. Now I SHALL be resuming the gamingggggggg!

It's their size that bothers me. They are so small compared to red hulks. D2 bots are all just too cute and wussy looking.
