More to come, just a few screenshots from my first attempt at Borderlands. The art direction in the game is meant to look like a 'comic book' per say, which is why it doesn't look realistic.

I've been considering this one myself, particularly if anyone wants to get a co-op game going - worth the money?

I find the cartoon-y-ness delightful in its own way, but I can't pick up another game right now...

I haven't played much of it yet - But it's definitely worth it. The quests will keep you going for days. It's kind of like Diablo with guns.
The Expanse. Watch it!

I have a £20 gift voucher, which qualifies for an excuse... although bugger knows how I'll balance that with the necessity of doing PhD work...I find the cartoon-y-ness delightful in its own way, but I can't pick up another game right now...

Hmmdiablo+fallout 3 is how it feels to me, loving it so far
I dont like to call it Fallout 3 really, I don't want to start a flamewar here, but I just don't think it's that similar.
Regardless, I've got it too, anyone want to co-op some time?

Ah this is one of the games I might be getting once I buy my new computer.
CEL Shading is so awesome, it just makes a nice touch in games if done correctly.

I've never seen a 3D game look so comic-book like and yet look so awesome, look so 2D, yet be 3D awesomeness.

This is good fun, even better with more people.
The singleplayer is still great but I have to admit it can be a case of "the more the merrier".
Anyone else have it yet?
