Not bad at all, the chord shaping sounded fine, I think the only thing I'd really suggest is maybe try using a metronome to help practice the jump between the Chord lick and the run, it's a very common problem when you start playing guitar, because you have to concentrate on what fret the run starts on, and end up over-anticipating.
I only really consider myself 'competant' as far as guitar work is concerned, but having to play along to Cubase with it's unforgiving digital timing has helped my playing a lot. Check out the Britpop thread if you want to have a listen
