Thinking of closing this section, seems to be totally dead. Any thoughts?

Thought this was supposed to serve as a backup forum of sorts, at least, that's the impression I got from the stickies.

I think it's served its purpose; back during the great fleeing from HLP it was useful, no longer.

It'd probably be unrealistic to expect SCP devs to monitor both here and HLP, so I guess it should be shut.

This. We can always help people out with possible SCP issues in the normal FreeSpace (or the Modding & Projects) section, it's not like there's a lot of clutter there.

That said, I wouldn't object to someone mirroring SCP news, because I virtually never visit HLP - and every time I do, it ends up being 'f### me, somebody did that?!'
EDIT; in a good way, generally speaking.

Tell me what you did and I'll be impressed.

I cannot find a way to take credit for any of those.

This one time I made the engine devour itself and all its innards gibbered like the song of Yog-Sothoth, the Beyond One, stupendous in its malign suggestiveness.
there was blood

That happens every other playthrough for me.
And I don't know why it happens
The engine just loves vanishing my ships and dividing by zero for
no apparent reason.
I believe it has to do with HYPERSPACE type warpins...but apparently FotG doesn't experience such problems...
