Hey i've got a problem with this thing. The shields and fires are fxxked up. The shields don't even show up. When i hit them all i get is a big black blob and the laser hit glow. Also, the fire is only a bunch of orange and black squares.

Can anyone help me out?

What version of the SCP are you running, which media VPs and what are your computers specs?

I'm running the 3.6.9 version, although i don't quite understand what you mean under which media VPs.

As for my computer, let's just say that i can run Crysis on high settings, 800x600 resolution.

Turn anti-aliasing off and increase the resolution. :)

:EDIT:

For Crysis, that is.

Did you use Turey's installer?

Umm, no. I downloaded all the files separately from hard-light.

Then there might be a mediavp in the wrong place.

Try installing it with Turey's installer instead.

I already tried that, and it didn't work. All i get is the retail version, and when it gets to the SCP part there's a bug, and my computer crashes.

It sounds like you're just missing the MVP 710 patches:

http://fs2source.warpcore.org/mediavp/m ... ffects.rar
http://fs2source.warpcore.org/mediavp/m ... ffects.rar
http://fs2source.warpcore.org/mediavp/mp-710_models.rar

Stick them in with your other media VPs and all should be well. The next MVP release is around the corner and is a lot better. :)
