Ok, so... I know that this mod is totally inactive, but still...
Some time ago, this mod still had a website. It was on some other site. Now it's gone, I suspect it expired, but wasn't it also uploaded here on sectorgame? Or does anyone have it backuped? OR, does anyone remember the original link, so the website's backup can be found on some website backup sites?
Anyway, on to the second part.
I kinda got the Hidden Terror files from the maker, for backup purposes. Very outdated, and I dunno how well connected the mod files are to this place, though I hope it's the same mod and not two different mods with the same name
So, anyway, my point is, it's kinda complete. But with bugfixing and upgrading the missions and the modpack it might be possible to "finish" Hidden Terror. The reason why I'm saying this is cause I kinda want to "finish" Hidden Terror, but can't do it alone not being a FREDder, so I wanna know the general support me/we would be getting. If there's any, only then I'd ask for permission to finish Hidden Terror, and we might get this thing rolling again.
Unless noone's interested or can finish themselves, or don't want me involved

If you do then please, dunno, either upload it here? Or somewhere. So that it's available. Kinda difficult presenting this mod with no website.

How much further does it have to go? If it's a few (read: less than five) missions to go, you can count me in.
Believes in 3DPD. Loli is not a crime. A cat is fine too.

The website is really old, like OLD old! It's not even in the backups, but the SG archive.
The Expanse. Watch it!
Re: Website? And maybe HT reformation?
#6shadow? i didn't know you wanted to reform ht! do you have any updates?
Re: Website? And maybe HT reformation?
#7Nope. Didn't even start on it, seeing as everyone seems indifferent on HT. Plus, I have my own mods to work on.
Re: Website? And maybe HT reformation?
#8I see, however, should it be nearly finished as you stated, then I would recomment preserving it's assets in order to finish it later... Wasn't HT also sporting the nightmares?
Re: Website? And maybe HT reformation?
#9I don't think so.
If I remember correctly, it was parts of the FS1 and FS2 campaigns from the Shivan side.
Also, while it was nearly completed for its time, it's not by now. A lot of things would have to be changed/improved/upgraded/remade. Too much work for too little gain, unfortunately... Best off just starting from scratch on a new Shivan campaign.

Re: Website? And maybe HT reformation?
#12That would require giving some sort of precedence to ShadowGorrath's opinion that you must have shiney assets to release a campaign.Read Above
Re: Website? And maybe HT reformation?
#13Oh, if ONLY it needed shiny assets. . .
It actually doesn't need those- the mod uses retail ships mostly, if not entirely. What it does need, however, is the missions remade. Entirely.

Re: Website? And maybe HT reformation?
#14Why? I don't think we've dropped or eliminated any sexp's, or at least any that would prevent a mission from being playable with minor touchup work. Granted a lot of people rant and rave about how we've surpassed V quality FREDding, but we still play the main campaigns and like them, so they can just stuff it.It actually doesn't need those- the mod uses retail ships mostly, if not entirely. Re: Website? And maybe HT reformation?
#15Well, this campaign doesn't have even retail-quality level missions. Besides that, there are various bugs ( such as Shivans using terran thrusters, and so on ). Overall, better off remaking the campaign entirely.
