Probably the most useful link I've found today: http://stereopsis.com/flux/

Interesting. I'll try it, but I suspect the color will end up annoying me. Ever since I did texturing work, I've been a complete fascist when it comes to having the right shades of white.

That's the only setback really - if you need a perfect colour and brightness balance for Photoshop, this doesn't help!

I'm using it for now, but I haven;t had to texture anything yet. When I do, I'll see how well it responds to being shut off. I think the fact that I can only disable it for an hour at a time will start to annoy me pretty quickly, but we'll see.

On the plus side, I'm never using photoshop, so it's not a major thing once I adjust the max/min values. On the minus side, I'm not sure I can tell the difference... although maybe that's sort of the point.

I very much enjoy using this program. Especially when my days off are still overnights.

I don't use it anymore as I've become a early to bed-early to rise kinda person. Old age? :)
