would appear id need a new power supply for just about any card as mine only is a 305watt gem, so any suggestions on those would be helpful as well

Anything labeled Antec™ is usually a good choice. According to the specifications tab, this should be able to handle the card with ease. And, so long as you don't put in a monster/power-wasting CPU, it should be able to handle anything else that you throw at it as well.

whats your budget look like? you can piece together a demigod mode computer for ~1000ish

failing that, thats a good card anda good psu linked, but you're putting good parts into an aging computer, and may find yourself constantly replacing the slowest pieces non stop

though if i recall its a hell of a better computer now as opposed to 4 years ago :smash:

What are you complaining about? I'm stuck on an old Athlon XP 2400+ laptop with integrated video

EDIT: Crap, this is only the third thread from the top of this forum and it's last post was like two weeks ago. Damn these forums are dead. Didn't see the dates until just now.

Heh, don't worry about it, we don't work on the timescales that HLP does, think micro-evolution to macro-evolution, we move slowly, but are far more profound ;)

I don't think we have ever really been less/more active. It's usually about the same.

Last I recall whenever HLP have some "difficulties" then there's a tsunami of people: They come rushing in and then suddenly rushout.

We have become gradually less and less active over the years - it seems to correspond with the declining size of the Descent community. A few disappearing members aside, we have nearly all of the original FS veterans still lurking here. In the past I did do a lot of promoting and spammage to get more members here at SG, but I do not think that will work today.
