These shots also show off the Hollander-II, Rifleman, Warhammer, Canis, and Marauder, along with the Deimos.

There are currently exactly 72 mechs in game -- yes, that's a full six dozen -- and another dozen and a half or so still to come. If ever there was a time to get back into Mechy, or into it for the first time, it's now. 8)

That mech....is probably the most badass mech i have ever seen.
That one would get it's ass whipped by a Anhillater *has no clue how to spell it* out of Mech 3, equiped with Ultra AC 20x2 and Ultra AC 2x4 and much ammo, blow the leg of a 'Mech quite quickly.

By the way, what is the tonnage of the 'Mech?

It is an 85-ton Clan mech.

If you get up to this version of Mercs4, you can have it fight an Annihilator, too, and see for yourself who would win. 8)

I think most of the MW3 mechs are back now, though I have my doubts about the Supernova, Clint IIC, or Champion ever showing up again.

It would only be a true test of strength if it was human vs. human.

Nope. Mech 3 is pretty much dead, man. No one figured out how to make custom mechs for it in its lifespan, and most people have moved on to Mercs4 by now anyhow.

Plenty of humans to fight there tho :wink:

Dammit man I'l play again when they get the old skol mecs in cause most of them were also in Robotech! I wnt transformable LAMS (land air mechs) like the Wasp, Stinger (vf-1j's) and the Phoenix hawk (VF-1s!!!).

I'd love to also play a Grasshopper, Crusader (Armored veritech), Battlemaster, Goliath , and Hatamoto-Chi...

Thgough it is a pitty that the Badass Inertia Heavy Laid Back ferrocious battle of MW3 didn't make it to MW4.

When I bought the later I was utterly disapointed compared to MW3. MW3 had better (less catoney) graphics, animation (even if it hadn't had as many frames it was still better) a lot better user interface - the ability to separatly aim your guns, shoot sideways from alternate views and the wholeness of it was astonishing.

MW4 on the other hand was a fast paced shooter compared to MW3 and the whole 75 tons of steel running downhill while you struggle to keep it up and your guns on the "E" was completely lost.

Though I believe that MW4 in Multi can be fun, but it simply doesn't live up to what MW3 used to be for me.

Anyone working on bringing back the old "Mech dynamics" along with the "old-new" control interface? If yes, I may once again strap in and go hunting.

LAMS are not possible. Nor are quad's, or melee combat (e.g. Hatchetman). It's just not provided for in the code, and the source has not been released. (no beating a dead horse about it either.)

I would love to see the Hatamoto-Chi, tho, I and others have been nudging for it for a while :)

Phoenix Hawk has been axed, sadly. (Tho it would be cool.) I've put in a word on its behalf, and perhaps the devs will change their minds. :)

Rifleman, Marauder, and Warhammer are all back, tho, and the Shadow Hawk and Battlemaster are rumored for MekPak 3.

Also, take a look at the redesigned Crab!

For old-school mech action (maximum mech realism), there's IS3025 in development (a spinoff of EA's axed MPBT3025 using a similar engine). I think its name changed to IS3028 or something, tho -- run a search and you should find it. :)
