Recommended (freeware) 3ds viewer?

As in 3d exploration, but able to display maps above 1024 resolution....
(I had one of these programmed* myself, oddly enough, but it was with an old out-of-date API)
*not complicated in the slightest. I think it was mostly cut-and-paste too.
