that's the issue I have with UV maps. BLURRRR PIXELS up close (if you UV map the whole thing).

I'm all for UVmapped portions of it for added detail like the retail typhon though.

Haha I saw some friends playing this on their laptops between classes at uni. Fun stuff.

I just seems that the red fires don't really match the shivan fly-by sounds (whereas I feel the "pinkish weirdness" does a lot more).

Also, particle thrusters work. Ends up looking like GN Drives or something though (if you use something like the Kayser particle).

I'd prefer the Shivan thrusterglows from 3.6.10 Beta Mediavps. (the Pinkish-red things with the radial lines and the afterburner with a tinge of blue/purple)

I, too, really don't like the current red terran glows they use.

That's the GTMf Sparta, just retabled (and maybe re-turreted). It's in the Terran fleetpack. There's also the GTDn Archangel with the ungodly massive forward cannon of which there is a half-complete High Poly version in the modeldump but I don't think there's that much demand for yet another terran ...
